Cal 7.62x54R. S# 178. NFA paperwork originally misidentified this gun (a common occurrence years past w/ uncommon guns) listing "Chinese Govt". in the Importer / manufacturer field and Type 57 in the model field. The serial number is correct. Bbl 28" / flash suppressor. Flip up rear sight is graduated to 2300 meters. All visible serial numbers are matching with exception of the rear sight is marked "875" and the charging handle is marked "172". 1944 dated top plate. Bottom of the receiver near the rear mount is marked "R.CYCAK/SCOTTDALE". CONDITION: overall very good with some scattered handling marks and wear. Grip wood is separating slightly from age crack.
